Black Cardamom-kali elachi-indian-الائچی سیاہ

Black cardamom, also called “Elachi Black” or “Badi Elaichi,” is a strong aromatic spice commonly used in Asian cooking. It has large dark brown to black pods with smoky, earthy, and slightly spicy flavor. Unlike green cardamom, black cardamom is mostly used in savory dishes such as biryani, pulao, curries, and soups. It also has traditional medicinal uses for digestion and respiratory health.

کالی الائچی ایک خوشبودار مصالحہ ہے جو زیادہ تر بریانی، پلاؤ، قورمہ اور سالن میں استعمال ہوتی ہے۔ اس کا رنگ گہرا بھورا یا کالا ہوتا ہے اور اس کا ذائقہ دھواں دار، تیز اور خوشبودار ہوتا ہے۔ سبز الائچی کے مقابلے میں کالی الائچی زیادہ تر نمکین کھانوں میں استعمال کی جاتی ہے۔ روایتی طور پر یہ ہاضمہ بہتر بنانے اور نزلہ، کھانسی میں بھی مفید سمجھی جاتی ہے۔
